ASANA: Body poses that strengthen, stretch and restore the body, develop flexibility and melt away the daily stress. They enforce all functional systems of your body in a stress-reducing practice. They improve the body's physical health and clear the mind.
PRANAYAMA: breathing techniques seeking to lengthen control and regulate the breath.
RELAXATION: One of the easiest and most enjoyable techniques of Satyananda Yoga. It gradually relaxes all aspects of true Self, physical, mental and sentimental.
It nurtures the desire of self discipline and promotes mental stability through a full – body work out. Through Power Yoga a person can achieve total unity of body, mind and spirit in the deepest level.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and consists of:
WARM UP: the warm up session relaxes and stretches the muscles of the body in order to achieve optimum muscle flexibility before the main program.
MAIN PROGRAM: a series of Yoga poses synchronizing one’s breathing patterns to each movement and pulling every limb to its limits while maintaining a strong sense of inner peace and concentration.
RELAXATION: The last part of the practice which results in the improvement of the body’s natural strength and health.
